Al Kawthar Frequently asked questions
How long will it take for my item to be delivered?
Once payment is made we aim to have your item dispatched within 24 hours. Delivery may take up to 2-3 working days. We do send all items 1st class Royal mail. The maximum delivery time should be 5 working days. If you do not receive your item within 5 working days of making payment please contact us at info@al-kawthar.co.uk.

How do we know how much it costs for delivery?
Al Kawthar’s delivery costs are based on the weights of the products. You can find the delivery cost in the shopping cart after one or more items have been added.
What are the delivery costs?
Al Kawthar’s UK delivery charges are weight dependant and can cost as follows (the price is a guide and will vary depending on total weight of your order):
- 1-5 pins will cost £1.00
- 1-2 bands will cost £1.50
- 1-2 hijabs will cost £1.96
- 2-4 hijabs will cost £2.55
- up to 6 hijabs will cost £3.85 and will be sent recorded
- 1 abaya and a hijab for example will cost £4.55 and will be sent recorded etc
- International shipping will include the above base rate plus recorded signed for shipping which must be added to your shopping cart – click here to visit the shipping page
Do you deliver outside the UK?

If you don’t have the product in my size is it possible to order it?
Yes. If you email us on info@al-kawthar.co.uk with the following details; Product name, closed/open, and the size you want and we will be able to order for you. Unfortunately, it would NOT be with you in 5 working days. We ask for your patience as delivery may take up to 1 month, but should be within 3 weeks.
If an item is out of stock, how long will it take for it to come back in stock?
If the item that you are looking for is out of stock, it may take up to 3 weeks before it is back in stock. The best thing to do is email us on info@al-kawthar.co.uk so that we can reserve one for you on the stock arrival date.
What kind of stones are used on the abayas?
The stones that are used are good quality Korean Rhine stones.
How do I know what size I am?
Please refer to the size chart which is available below each abaya description. Just click on where it says “size chart”
What is your return and exchange policy and how do I return something?
At Al Kawthar we take pride in ensuring that our products are checked thoroughly before they leave us. Where incorrect or faulty items have been dispatched please contact us on returns@al-kawthar.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your product so that we can resolve it for you by either an exchange or full refund.
If you are not 100% happy with your product you may exchange your item ONLY provided that the item is in its original packaging and has not been worn, washed, marked or stained. Return delivery cost will not be reimbursed. You must contact Al Kawthar in the first instance prior to returning the item on returns@al-kawthar.co.uk.
Please ensure that items that are sent back are noted with Full name, address, contact number and email address. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that products are returned undamaged. We advise that you use Royal Mail recorded delivery and keep a note of the tracking number.
